Meet Dr. Usman Khan: Advanced Neurosurgical Care with a Patient-Centered Approach
Dr. Usman Khan is a highly trained neurosurgeon specializing in complex brain and spine conditions, with expertise in skull base and minimally invasive neurosurgery.
Dr. Khan earned his medical degree and PhD through a joint program at the State University of New York and Columbia University. He completed his neurosurgery residency at the University of California, San Diego, followed by two fellowships; in skull base, cerebrovascular, and endoscopic neurosurgery at the University of Arizona, and neurosurgical oncology at The Pacific Neuroscience Institute.
Dr. Khan combines traditional open surgery with minimally invasive and endoscopic approaches, including keyhole and totally endoscopic techniques—to help reduce recovery time while optimizing patient outcomes. He is deeply committed to individualized, compassionate care and works closely with each patient to develop a treatment plan tailored to their unique needs.
He is a member of numerous neurosurgical organizations, including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and the North American Skull Base Society, and regularly contributes to national guidelines and professional education.
